KYLE Auto Repair
I brought my vehicle to ME Auto due to significant front-end issues that my husband was unable to diagnose. Prior to bringing it in, he had replaced any components that showed visible wear. The purpose of taking the vehicle to ME Auto was specifically for a professional diagnosis and alignment. I made it clear that cost was not a concern and that my priority was safety and an accurate assessment of the problem. ME Auto performed an alignment and advised that the struts required replacement. Following this, my husband accompanied the mechanic on a test drive. During that drive, it was evident that the issue had not been resolved—the vehicle continued to dip on the front passenger side, there was a new buzzing sound that increased during acceleration and did not feel safe to operate. Despite this, the mechanic maintained that the problem had been corrected. At that point, the vehicle remained unsafe to drive, and ME Auto had failed to properly diagnose the issue. This left me $2,000 out of pocket, with no improvement to the condition or safety of the vehicle. I then took the car to a second repair shop, where it was determined that every bushing in both control arms was severely worn, a tie rod required replacement, and the motor mounts were failing. After performing the repairs and another alignment, the vehicle was finally repaired correctly. The second mechanic stated that the damaged components were obvious and that diagnosing the issue should not have been difficult. He also stated that during the first repair, the bolts had been over-torqued which he also had to correct. I am extremely disappointed that ME Auto failed to provide an accurate diagnosis and further claimed the repair had resolved the issue when it clearly had not. When a customer explicitly requests a professional diagnosis and safety is at stake, this level of oversight is unacceptable. I cannot recommend ME Auto to anyone seeking reliable diagnostics, transparency, or vehicle safety.
